Tiffani Robinson, LPC-A

My Background

Tiffani is the co-founder and Executive Director of The Dragonfly Harbor, Inc. Tiffani holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling  from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In addition to her education, Tiffani has attended several trainings and conferences in the area of human trafficking and exploitation and has completed training to be a Forensic Interviewer. Tiffani has experience working with community partners including experience educating Law Enforcement and the community on human trafficking awareness and intervention. She has worked in the area of trauma and human trafficking for the past 6 years. She is a former Service Plan Manager and Clinician for Metanoia Manor, a non-medical group home focused on serving teenage victims of human trafficking in South Louisiana. She has worked at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services, for over 4 years. She has worked with assessing and treating adolescents, using trauma informed and evidence based therapies, living in a residential care setting. Tiffani has previously served with the Governor's Board. Tiffani was named Chair of one of three subcommittees for the Human Trafficking Advisory Board for the year 2021. Tiffani has been involved with anti- trafficking specific  non-profits in the community aside from The Dragonfly Harbor, Inc. She has contracted with Empower 225 and Freedom 13, providing trauma counseling to victims. Tiffani has experience in collaborating with other organizations such as DCFS, OJJ, FBI, CASA, FINS and the courts in order to insure best care for a victim. 

Tiffani has worked in the private practice setting for the last several years providing mental health and trauma informed counseling. She has worked primarily in the area of trauma as well as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting and other mental health issues. 

She currently accepts some major insurances including United/Optum, LHCC, Aetna, BCBS and Healthy Blue. We currently offer in person and telehealth services.
